Is it Secure?
Yes, Brentwood Bank supports the most current security to ensure complete privacy and protection of your account information and transactions. In addition, no account data is ever stored on your phone. In the event your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be immediately disabled by logging in to online banking and clicking the “Mobile” tab. What is Brentwood Mobile?
Brentwood Bank Mobile gives you access to your accounts from our downloadable mobile banking app, Brentwood Mobile, on your apple or Android smart phone or tablet. You can view account balances, pay bills to existing payees, search recent account activity, transfer funds, and find ATM or branch locations.
How do I sign up for Brentwood Mobile?
Download our Brentwood Mobile app and follow the instructions, or sign in to online banking on your computer and choose “Add Number” from the Mobile tab section. Enter your phone number and mobile carrier. Agree to the terms and condition. After that you will create a Mobile Security Key. The mobile security key is used to identify messages sent to you by Brentwood Bank.
Is Brentwood Bank Mobile supported on my phone or tablet?
The app is supported on Apple and Android smart phones and on Apple iPad devices.
How do I install the Brentwood mobile app?
- You will need to enroll in online banking first.
- Simply go to the Apple or Android app store, search “Brentwood Bank,” and download the Brentwood Mobile app.
- Once the icon appears on your mobile device, click the icon.
- Click on the blue “Select” button
- Enter your Online Username. This is the same Username you sue to sign into online banking. Then click on the green “Next” button.
- You will have to answer a challenge questions. This question was originally setup with your online banking credentials.
- Enter the answer to your challenge question and select the green “Next button.
You will be prompted to read and accept the terms of services, and disclosure information. Select “Accept”
- Enter your “password”. This is the same password as your online banking password.
At this time, your mobile device is registered. Click on the “OK” button after reading the security notice.
What is text banking?
Text banking gives you access to your accounts via text (SMS) messages on your phone. It’s a fast, easy way to look up account balances or recent account history by sending a text command to a short code.
What is the Brentwood Bank short code?
All text messages should be sent to 66808.
Will I receive unsolicited text messages?
No. You will only receive messages when you specifically request them with one of the text banking commands.
What are the text banking commands?
- B – Summary of available balances for all accounts
- Tfr – Transfer funds
- Hst – Summary of recent transactions per account (default days is 5)
- H or HELP – Help content for text banking
- News – For Brentwood Bank News
- Rates – for rates
I enrolled my phone number but did not receive a text message. What should I do?
Typically you should receive a text message within a few minutes after enrolling. However, sometimes mobile carriers experience delays that slow down text message delivery. While waiting, make sure your phone has a wireless signal. In addition, be sure you entered the correct phone number on the enrollment site. If you still do not receive the message, contact your wireless carrier to be sure text messaging is enabled on your phone.
What happens if I get a new phone or change phone numbers?
If you get a new phone or change phone numbers, be sure to return to the online banking website and add a new phone profile in the “Mobile” tab section. We recommend removing your old phone and re-enrolling your new phone.
Can I use mobile banking or text banking on more than one phone?
Yes, please access the “Mobile” tab in online banking to activate another phone number.
What if my device is lost or stolen?
In the event your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be immediately disabled by logging into online banking and clicking the “Mobile” tab in online banking. We recommend you delete your phone number from this section to deactivate the phone.
If you are concerned about misuse of your phone, contact your mobile service provider immediately to stop all wireless service.
