As a student of baseball, Joe Verduci is fond of saying, “You can’t score if you never leave first base.” To him, it’s more than a quote. It’s a philosophy for success that he’s been helping his business clients – and his community – apply his entire career.
The way Joe sees it, every Brentwood Bank business customer strives to reach the next level and his goal is to help them get there. So Joe listens to his clients and develops the solutions that are right for them. A veteran of large and small banks alike, Joe believes the spirit of community runs deep at Brentwood Bank, empowering him to pay time and attention to clients in ways that are increasingly rare at larger financial institutions.
Of course, Joe’s own commitment to community runs deep, too. Joe is the current president of the Bridgeville-South Fayette Rotary, is currently serving on council in Bridgeville Borough and is a former treasurer of the Southwest Communities Chamber of Commerce. Plus, he’s been deeply involved in sharing his lifelong love of baseball with local youth, helping teach them the game – and the important life lessons that come with it.
A proud father of three children, Joe spends his free time enjoying the company of his wife and the couple's many friends. Just what you'd expect from a man who cherishes his connections with people and a place called home.
Clayton E. Kinlan
Assistant Vice President, Relationship Banker II, South Park Shops Office
Clayton is an avid hiker, so he’s not afraid to blaze new trails—whether in the wilderness or at Brentwood Bank.
Normally, that means going to lengths for his clients that other bankers might not. Could be answering a pressing question late at night or finding a flexible way to finance a critical new piece of equipment.
Other times, it means building a new service line.
Such is the case with Brentwood Bank merchant processing, which enables businesses to securely process debit and credit card transactions. With customers increasingly using their plastic for payments, Clayton noticed the bank was lacking in this area. After researching a number of options, he selected a processing solution that fit both the bank and its business clients. As a result, clients are able to accept payments in a wide variety of ways at very competitive pricing—giving them the flexibility they need without hindering cash flow.
Away from the office, Clayton likes to spend time with his wife Kimmy and daughters Rachel and Heather. When not pounding the trails of Western PA, you can find Clayton soaking up the Steel City’s cultural offerings such as Phipps Conservatory or the Pittsburgh Symphony.
As Commercial Deposit Officer at Brentwood Bank, Greg knows what you put into your job pays off. Big time. That’s why he is dedicated to developing the total customer relationship. To his clients, he’s more than just a banker. He’s a resource and an ally, advising them on day-to-day banking matters and working to understand how they do business.
Greg has been serving in this role since 2013, but he learns something new every day. He utilizes the latest technology to help his clients save time and money. And arrive at complete banking solutions.
It’s no wonder he’s grown Brentwood Bank’s commercial deposit portfolio nearly two and a half times since he started.
According to musician Henry Rollins, “Learning about what you’re made of is always time well spent.” For Greg, these are words to live by. He learns more about himself, as well as his clients and community through his involvement with many local organizations, including the South Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Community Bridgebuilding Network, Pittsburgh ICE and the Scott Conservancy.
An avid outdoorsman, Greg enjoys spending time with his family visiting parks, hiking and camping. He recently constructed a small pond in his backyard where he works to keep the ecosystem balanced.
He’s learned that in life, as well as in banking, balance is always a good thing.
