Summary of Basic Function: 

As a Personal Banker you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to ensure our customer’s entire banking experience is extraordinary. You will be responsible for providing a seamless transition between accurate and courteous teller based transactions as well as answering questions and/or resolving complex technical problems on customer accounts. You will develop recommendations, based on the customer’s needs, and will sell consumer and small business products/services to existing and new customers, and cross-sell other bank services, referring customers to other departments as appropriate. You will take personal initiative and be a positive role model for others to emulate.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a superior and meaningful customer focused experience for each customer or potential customer. Be an expert on retail and consumer bank products.
  • Warmly greet (by name if possible) and actively engage customers/prospects in the lobby, on the teller line, or on the phone.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and inquiries and other customer originated service needs with the intent of enhancing customer retention and exploring additional sales opportunities. Research and answer customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates and services.
  • Actively participate in attaining branch goals, by actively promoting bank and related products and services to customers and future customers.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate products and services (consumer and small business) both in person and on the telephone.
  • Promote, assist and educate customer’s use of self service and remote channels, such as ATM, online banking and bill pay; and provide hands-on demonstration of these services.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered; taking responsibility and initiative to keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs.
  • Refer larger business accounts and commercial opportunities as identified during discussions with the customer to Branch Manager, Relationship Bankers or Commercial Lenders as appropriate.
  • Identify and refer sales opportunities to an investment advisor at Brentwood Advisors.
  • Discuss all types of consumer lending needs with customers. Identify and refer customers who need a mortgage loan to a Branch Manager or Relationship Banker who is a registered Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) holder.
  • Comply with all Federal/State banking regulations and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank, if applicable. Comply with all bank operating and security policies and procedures and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain and accurately balance a cash drawer and TCR, and teller window. Verify totals to generated proof sheet. Accurately balance transit and on-us checks and process via Branch Capture.
  • Assist in branch balancing and completing end of day functions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of customer interactions, referrals communications, preferences, problems and information in Quest CRM.
  • Complete leads assigned on Quest CRM.
  • Promote a positive image of Brentwood Bank in the community through involvement in community events and other bank functions.
  • Assist the Personal Banker II and Branch Manager with business and personal sales calls, bank at works and other customer outreach programs.

We are seeking a full-time Customer Support and Outreach Representative. This position will be responsible for superb customer service, assisting with any questions they may have regarding their accounts.  The overall goal of this position is to expand on relationships with our current customers and continue to gain new relationships while maintaining quality service.

Summary of Basic Function:

Provides outstanding customer support, education and problem resolution for Brentwood Bank customers and prospects in a Call Center environment.  Enhances the overall Bank brand and customer loyalty by creating noticeably superior customer experiences on each call.  Able and willing to enthusiastically assist Brentwood Bank customers and fellow team members with most deposit related issues and common loan related issues.  Refers customers to appropriate bank experts as necessary.  Partners with other Bank Departments and Branches to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary assistance and problem resolution for customers with issues or questions pertaining to the Bank’s online banking, telephone banking, mobile applications, and other related services.
  • Identify customer needs and cross-sells additional Bank products and services when appropriate.  
  • Actively participate in ongoing Bank sales initiatives,  Provide referrals to other departments as necessary.
  • Document all customer communications, interactions, referrals and preferences in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Enhance customer relationships through personalized communication and recognition of special events such as birthdays, significant anniversaries, etc.
  • Provide primary back-up for the reception desk as needed.
  • Process all non-in-person wire transfers under dual control according to established procedures.
  • Assist with customer notifications for compromised Debit Card situations or similar situations.
  • Opens, documents and services accounts within our electronic system.
  • Serve internal and external customers with consistent and superior customer service.
  • Maintains familiarity with laws pertaining to the sale of financial institution products and services.
  • Promote internal communications with all Bank departments to ensure quality and consistency in the Bank service offering.
  • Represent and promote favorable image and uphold the Bank reputation through involvement in community activities.

Summary of Basic Function:  

The Creative Writer is a contract position.  This individual will be responsible for writing marketing content and collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external resources to develop and produce printed, electronic and digital communications that reflect the brand tone and personality and inform various audiences about our products, services and points of difference.  This individual will be engaged in the development and publishing of digital content for SEO and Social Media as well as content for customer communications and certain internal communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Write content for printed, electronic and digital communications, including flyers, websites, emails, direct mail letters, newsletters, and social media content. 
  • Support in the development of a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term communications and marketing targets.
  • Ensure content is appropriate for the intended audience, understandable, persuasive and effectively achieves marketing goals.
  • Make sure communications are accurate and compliant with industry regulations, on message and brand.  Ensures proofreading and readability.
  • Coordinate production and publishing schedules for SEO and Social Media 
  • Seek input from key internal stakeholders and research reliable sources for content development. 
  • Ensure available content is properly leveraged throughout the organization.
  • Create and edit content as needed for ad hoc projects.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree - Journalism, Communications, English or Marketing with concentration in advertising or public relations or business communications or a related communications field

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Will maintain all aspects of the cash management function for the bank, which would include but not limited to presentation, documentation, implementation and training of the services needed by the client.
  • Will need to handle documentation on new accounts as needed which could include but not limited opening deposit accounts.
  • Will administer all required auditing that will be required of these Cash Management products services.
  • Will have a general understanding of day to day job functions, such as current book of business, current projects, and auditing of electronic services.
  • Utilizing core and ancillary systems to ensure all documents are accounted for and centralized in one location.
  • Will provide operational input and maintain procedures for all functions under Cash Management services. 
  • Travel is required to fulfill duties and responsibilities.
