We are seeking a full-time Branch Manager for our Bethel Park Location. As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for the total performance of the branch including delivery of outstanding customer service, achievement of sales and loan goals and ensuring the operational efficiency of your team. You will develop recommendations, based on the customer’s needs, and will maintain or sell consumer and small business products/services to existing and new customers, and cross-sell other bank services, referring customers to other departments as appropriate. You will take personal initiative, inspire, and retain your team, and through coaching, training, and development motivate them to achieve a superior customer experience and a career path at Brentwood Bank.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a superior and meaningful customer focused experience for each customer or potential customer. Be an expert on consumer and business bank products and services.
  • Actively engage team to participate in attaining branch goals, by providing leadership and actively promoting bank and related products and services to customers and future customers. Champion full participation in the bank’s Kasasa program.
  • Conduct regular meetings to ensure communication of goals and achievements and enhance service and sales efforts within the branch.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate products and services (consumer and small business) both in person and on the telephone.
  • Promote, assist, and educate customer’s use of self service and remote channels, such as ATM, online banking, mobile banking, and bill pay; and provide hands-on demonstration of these services.
  • Discuss all types of consumer lending needs with customers.
  • Comply with all Federal/State banking regulations and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank, if applicable. Comply with all bank operating and security policies and procedures and complete all required annual or job-specific training. Certify and register as a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) holder.
  • Refer commercial business loans and commercial leasing opportunities as identified during discussions with the customer to Commercial Lenders as appropriate.
  • Personally identify and refer sales opportunities to an investment advisor at Brentwood Advisors, and coach your team to do same.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of customer interactions, referrals communications, preferences, problems and information in Customer Management, Customer Contact History.
  • Represent and promote a positive image and uphold the Bank’s reputation through the involvement in community activities and enrolling in business promotion networking groups.
  • Ensure branch team collectively takes ownership of the safety and cleanliness of the branch.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage, direct and coordinate branch team, deploy resources to optimize individual, team, and bank performance. Set performance expectations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Bank policies and applicable federal and state laws.
  • Responsible for training employees, planning assigning and directing work; Conduct bi-annual and annual staff performance reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in banking and finance, business, or a related field.
  • 5 years progressive managerial experience in banking, strongly preferred.
  • 3 years customer service background in retail or banking.
  • Demonstrated sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management/prioritization skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications and ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial success in coaching, motivating, and developing employees.

We are seeking a full-time Commercial Loan Administrator for the Bethel Park Administration Office. This position will serve as a primary source of expertise in commercial loan documentation, preparing all commercial loan documentation and coordinating closings for commercial loan transactions of all types and complexities, ensuring that all terms and conditions of approval are met and collateral is properly perfected while maintaining efficient turnaround of requests. Responsible for real estate appraisal ordering and, in addition, serves as the Bank’s internal administrator for all commercial construction loans. Coordinates with commercial loan officers regarding documentation requirements while also providing administrative support to the Commercial Lending and Credit Department. Provides key support for cash management and other Bank services provided to business customers.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complete loan documentation packages for commercial loans of all types, sizes, and complexities
  • Work directly with loan officers and credit analysts to ensure a thorough understanding of the credit underwriting requirements for each loan request
  • Order and review all preliminary property, credit and flood zone reports for approved loan requests, order appraisals and coordinate review with appropriate staff
  • Utilize LaserPro (or similar software) to prepare loan documents in accordance with approval terms
  • Review any pertinent third-party legal documents that may be associated with the transaction (i.e., Partnership Agreements, Sale Agreements, Subordination Agreements, etc.) to ensure that they are consistent with the terms of approval
  • Coordinate with commercial loan officers to prepare and send Proposal and Commitment Letters outlining terms and conditions of financing approval
  • When necessary, coordinate with outside legal counsel in the preparation of legal documents for closing
  • Communicate with customers and loan officers, as well as third parties (i.e., attorneys, realtors, appraisers, etc.) as needed to obtain necessary information to complete loan closing packages
  • Review complete loan documentation prior to submission to the loan officer for final review to ensure that financing terms and collateral agree with approval and that all conditions of approval have been met
  • Coordinate closings with attorneys and loan officers
  • Attend closings, if needed
  • Process loan disbursements
  • Process paid commercial loans
  • Maintain and monitor accurate performance and exceptions data for the Commercial Lending Department
  • Provide reports on a minimum monthly basis for outstanding document/exceptions post-closing, approved policy exceptions, HMDA reporting, Borrower/Guarantor required financial reporting, Covenant tracking, Borrowing base tracking, Adverse actions and withdrawn loans and Insurance tracking.
  • Provide construction loan administration for commercial construction loans
  • Maintain organized workflow processes to ensure accuracy and adequate loan turnaround time
  • Provide administrative support, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum Associate Degree in Business
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit administration or commercial loan operations preferred, or relevant experience with a law firm or other commercial financial services organization
  • Proficiency with LaserPro preferred, but not required
  • Notary Public certification preferred, or ability to obtain Notary Public certificate
  • Thorough understanding of loan documentation for all loan types
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

Summary of Basic Function:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary assistance and problem resolution for customers with issues or questions pertaining to the Bank’s online banking, telephone banking, mobile applications, commercial Cash Management and other related services.
  • Identify customer needs and cross-sells additional Bank products and services when appropriate.
  • Actively participate in ongoing Bank sales initiatives Provide referrals to other departments as necessary.
  • Consistently apply all steps in the On-Boarding process for all new Retail customers
  • Document all customer communications, interactions, referrals and preferences in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Enhance customer relationships through personalized communication and recognition of special events such as birthdays, significant anniversaries, etc.
  • Provide primary back-up for the reception desk as needed.
  • Process all non in-person wire transfers under dual control according to established procedures.
  • Assist with customer notifications for compromised Debit Card situations or similar situations.
  • Opens, documents and services accounts in support of the Relationship Banking team.
  • Serve internal and external customers with consistent and superior customer service.
  • Maintains familiarity with laws pertaining to the sale of financial institution products and services.
  • Promote internal communications with all Bank departments to ensure quality and consistency in the Bank service offering.

Summary of Basic Function:

The Teller is responsible for establishing, developing, and retaining strong customer relationships; identifying and promoting additional bank products and services; accurately and courteously processing customer transactions; and maintaining accurate cash and transaction records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a superior and meaningful customer focused experience for each customer or potential customer.
  • Coordinate internal and external customer service with other bank employees and departments. Take ownership of customer issues and personally guide customers through all interactions with the bank.
  • Actively participate in attaining branch sales goals.
  • Process customer deposits/withdrawals (including night bags), process loan payments, and cash checks.
  • Actively promote bank and related products and services to customers and future customers.
  • Comply with all Federal/State banking regulations and all bank operating and security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and accurately balance the teller cash recycler (TCR) and teller window if applicable. Verify totals to generated proof sheet. Accurately balance transit and on-us checks and process via Branch Capture.
  • Report any discrepancies to supervisor as necessary. Maintain daily work in good order. Safeguard confidential customer information.
  • Promote a positive image of Brentwood Bank in the community through involvement in community events and other bank functions.
